We care about your privacy, and how we explain it

When you fill out a form or contact us, we collect:

• Name, email, company name, and job title
• Any messages you send us

When you browse the site, we may collect:

• IP address and browser or device type
• Pages viewed and buttons clicked
• Cookies, only with your consent

We do not collect sensitive or biometric data anywhere on our website.

We collect this information only when you choose to share it or interact with the site:

• When you submit a form, subscribe, or contact our team
• When you browse pages that use analytics
• Through cookies, and only after you accept them

• To respond to your questions and requests
• To understand how the site is used and improve it
• To send updates you have asked to receive

We never sell your information, and we do not use it for profiling.

We rely on a few trusted vendors, such as:

• CRM tools, to manage inquiries
• Analytics providers, such as Google Analytics
• Form and chat platforms

These providers only use your data to help us deliver our services, never for their own purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request a copy of your data
• Request correction or deletion
• Opt out of communications or tracking

We collect only what is needed to control access securely:

• A Facial Signature, a non-reversible, encrypted mathematical pattern based on your face
• A badge number, provided by your System Owner
• Optional consent records, if your System Owner uses the Alcatraz consent module
• Optional access log data, if configured by your System Owner

We do not collect:

• Your name
• Photos or facial images, which are deleted immediately
• Your email, phone number, or ID

Data is collected only after you have given written consent through your System Owner:

1. A liveness check confirms you are a real person
2. A facial image is temporarily captured to create a Facial Signature
3. The image is deleted immediately
4. The encrypted Facial Signature is stored locally, or in the cloud if enabled

During authentication, the Facial Signature is used for less than one second.

We use this data for one purpose only: to determine whether you are allowed in the building.

• To match you with your stored Facial Signature
• To unlock doors you are authorized to access
• To support access logs, if configured by your System Owner

We never sell or share your biometric data, and we never use it for advertising, tracking, or profiling.

• System Owners control enrollment, storage, deletion, and access
• Alcatraz only processes encrypted data in the cloud, and only at the System Owner's request

In on-prem deployments, Alcatraz never sees or stores your data. Whatever the setup, we will never sell it.

To access, correct, or delete your biometric data, contact your System Owner, such as your employer or security administrator. Alcatraz provides the tools to manage this data but does not handle these requests directly.
