Rock X

The outdoor-rated facial authentication reader: verified in under a second, hands-free, rain or shine

Alcatraz Rock Xmakes secure enterprise access feel like magic.

Rock X is the outdoor-rated facial authentication reader from Alcatraz. It verifies the enrolled person in under a second, hands-free, in the rain, sun, and grit that defeat ordinary hardware, with tailgating detection in real time and all biometric processing on the device. It drops into your existing access control system via Wiegand or OSDP.

Privacy first

Rock X authenticates the face while protecting the person behind it. No raw images stored, no cloud uploads, no biometric data at risk.

Nothing to carry, nothing to lose, nothing to store.

How Rock X works: facial authentication in real time

Here's what happens every time someone approaches a Rock X-secured door.
