Job Description:

Alcatraz is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our go to market team, based in Palo Alto. You are our first marketing hire and will be responsible to craft and implement marketing strategies and programs to increase awareness of Alcatraz and power our sales team to acquire customers. You will be responsible for positioning Alcatraz as a disruptive thought leader within the access control industry. You will help us expand our footprint amongst our Enterprise customer base and help influence the product roadmap by bringing market and customer insights to product management. This role reports into the Chief Revenue Officer and works closely with the CEO to craft and shape Alcatraz's position within the market.

About you:

You have 3-5+ years of B2B product marketing experience, ideally in the software space or have an aptitude for understanding and ramping on new technologies. You have been responsible for creating, driving, and managing go to market plans across all channels. You're a passionate, self-starter with a no bullshit, can-do attitude. You're eager to jump in and get things done but don't get flustered in a fast-paced and often changing environment.

An ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Understand the market problems and identify market opportunities to drive growth
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure that messaging is resonating with customers
  • Build sales enablement and tools to build and accelerate pipeline
  • Work closely with Product Management to shape product strategy and develop the go to the market vision for your product
  • Build and execute campaigns from the bottom up ( identify goals, risks, audience, messages, and tactics)
  • Generate high quality content for customers, evaluators, advocates and channels partners including emails, blogs, webinar content, uses cases/customer stories, and more
  • Drive marketing qualified leads through campaign activities to targeted customers
  • Work with demand generation to optimize the website for inbound traffic
